How it all started



Yamlu's journey began in my kitchen, alongside my one-year-old daughter. I was contemplating spreads that i can give her for breakfast and snacks. Something nourishing and delicious. My mind drifted directly to my favorite spread: Amlou, the only one that was both.

Fate (or perhaps luck) had it that I didn't have any on hand that day. Instead, a generous amount of Moroccan almonds, a gift from family, was waiting for me. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and craft a homemade version for my daughter. 

I found great joy in the process, and providing my loved ones with something delicious and nourishing gave me the utmost satisfaction. Few months and dozens of recipes later, Yamlu was born. My premium take on a 1000 year old indulgence. Made for modern life, with a creamy texture and a perfectly balanced taste. 
Today, I take great pride in crafting this timeless spread, and making this culinary heritage available for all households UAE.
