Yamlu started in a Dubai kitchen in 2021, not as a business idea but as a mother's answer to a simple question: what could I feed my daughter every day at breakfast or snack? Something nourishing, unprocessed, and delicious. Food she'd actually want to eat.
For a Moroccan mother and a foodie, the answer was obvious : AMLOU. The gourmet Moroccan nut butter passed through generations known for being nourishing and indulgent at the same time.
She decides to make amlou from scratch in her little kitchen. One burnt blender and many tweaks later, she's got something special. Her daughter is hooked, her husband wants more, and friends start asking if they can place an order. Yamlu is born.
